Valencia has begun with its autumn fairs, exhibitions and events and with nearly a dozen programmed events intends to place the city as the centre for sustainable fairs: for the month of November, the exhibition ground of Valencia will host some of the most representative events of Spain, regarding sustainable development, renewable energy, eco-construction and environment.
The season opens with Ecofira, the International Fair of Environmental Solutions, a leading event in the environmental industry around the world. The dates chosen for this year are the 13th to 15th of November, and it is expected to have exhibitors from all around the world.
At the same time, in order to concentrate the different sectors involved and to address the issue of sustainability from different perspectives, the city of Valencia will also hold the traditional fair Expoenergética, the Fair for the Efficient Water Management, the fair for Sustainable Construction and Rehabilitation, as well as fair for Sustainable Planning and Landscaping.
From Wednesday to Friday, the city will focus on finding new solutions to the current development of our society and industry, an issue of growing concern and that, unfortunately, has yet to receive a stronger government support.
Regarding accommodation, you are recommended to book in advance, specially if you are looking for a hotel in the centre of Valencia, or close to the main monuments and tourist attractions of the city.
