Trip to Madrid as a couple: Surprising hotels

Summer holidays have not come to an end and we are already thinking in organising a trip in October to get away from it all and escape from our frenetic work rhythm. After August, cities like Madrid, Seville or Barcelona become again top destinations in autumn, so now that prices are still low it is the best moment to organise a different trip in a surprising hotel.

September and October are good months to organise a trip as a couple: the weather is nice, children are busy with their back-to-school and the leisure plans and proposals which offer the big Spanish cities revive again.

Besides, during these last summer months one may find unique hotels in Madrid at affordable prices, with interesting offers for those who travel as a couple.

Thus, it is a good moment to choose a different hotel, with a unique personality and design spaces where relax becomes an experience in itself, more than the chosen destination or location.

Although accommodation in Spain is mainly classic, specially in beach areas, we can find small hotel gems in Madrid whose aim is to provide your trips with something special. A good example are those hotels built in historical buildings, like the Petit Palace Posada del Peine, which stands out for being the oldest hotel in Spain and has a unique location, close to Plaza Mayor in Madrid.

There are endless monuments and squares in the Spanish capital which have become authentic symbols of the country. In this sense, another good option to surprise your beloved ones is to find a hotel on Puerta del Sol, with views to the clock which announces a new year and to this bustling square which is one of the most important meeting points in Madrid.

Proposals are endless: staying in  the first skyscraper hotel in Madrid, booking in the exclusive and unique hotel in Serrano street, or waking up in a luxury hotel in front of El Retiro park… Choosing among all them will be a tough work.
