The coves of Conil

Conil de la Frontera is the paradise of beaches in Cadiz. This small territory concentrates some of the most beautiful coves of the province, such as Fuente del Gallo o the naturists Cala Melchor, Cala del Pato and Cala del Tio Juan de Medina.

Cove Pato Conil

With clean waters, quiet and with varied backgrounds, from rocks to extremely fine sand, its main characteristic is that they preserve, almost intact, its natural condition: despite the presence of residential and tourist areas in the proximities, the beaches retain all their charm and, in most cases, provide a space away from the noise and bustle.

Divided into 2 main areas, the beaches of Levante and the coves of Poniente (also known as Roche coves as they are next to the village bearing the same name) the visitor can choose between the lively Cala Encendida, with easy access and a family atmosphere,  or quieter and more isolated coves and beaches for athletes, like Puntalejo that is very attractive to those seeking the winds from Levante.

Accommodations are very diverse. There is a wide range of apartments for groups and hotels with miniclub in Calas de Conil, ideal for family holidays. They all offer good services such as parking, free Wi-Fi, swimming pools and even meeting rooms for those who wish to organise a company trip to Cadiz.

This beach area is located close to the popular area of Sancti Petri, Chiclana, and Canos de Meca and centre of Conil de la Frontera, where you can find some of the best hotel deals in Cadiz.
