Tides usually offer a beautiful spectacle in this Sotavento beach, since the high tides form a natural lake in the beach itself, perfect for a quiet swimming under warm waters.  It is a Special Area of Conservation (SAC), inside the Sea Demarcation of the Canary Islands, from where you can watch, like in no other place, the great Pecenescal viewpoint.

Days with good wind attract many windsurfing and kitesurfing lovers creating magical images on this incredible sand beach, filling it with colourful sails and kites that go all around doing crazy things on the waves without touching each other.
