All Inclusive, or how to organise a worry-free vacation

Why is the All Inclusive board so successful? Despite the criticism, its bad reputation and its stigma related to mass tourism in already overcrowded and deteriorated areas, the All Inclusive board is still the best option for many. But…why? There are reasons for all tastes. Come and read, gentleman.

The All Inclusive is not as bad as it is said to be. No, my friends. It is true that it has a really bad reputation and that it has received many bad reviews, and it is also true that in some cases we must agree with the critics. But we must go beyond, because there are thousands of types of All Inclusive services and some of them are worth it. Its advantages, on our opinion, are that it allows you to organise a relaxing sun &beach getawayto almost any corner of the world without worries, at an adjusted budget and at hotels you had never imagined to visit at incredible prices.

What does All Inclusive stand for?

First of all, we must define the All Inclusive board, without distortions, in its essence. The All Inclusive is the accommodation option offered at a hotel where the guest pays a series of services and amenities in advance, to which he will have access during the whole stay. It normally includes food & beverage —except forgourmetand themed restaurants, although some hotels include a gourmet or themed dinner per week—, the drinks —except for premium brands—, all the activities and facilities of the hotels —gym, swimming pools, playgrounds, mini club….— and in some cases the most special areas, like the spa.

The most significant fact is that when the guest pays in advance, he has access to cheaper prices, which makes this type of board so popular amongst the great socialmasslooking for low prices.

The All Inclusive is the offer par excellence for summer holidays. In fact itis offered in most of the beach resorts and rarely at urban hotels. The reason is simple: at beach hotels, such as the emblematic All Inclusive hotels in Costa Adeje or Fuerteventura, guests are more likely to make the most of the accommodation, the relaxing ambiance and the beach. That is, simple holidays with everything within your reach without leaving the sunbed. It is the dream of the man on the street who works non-stop, counting the dates to escape to the seafront. The All Inclusive board is less practical in the city because most of the services included in this board aremissed, as we spent most of the time of our urban getaway in the streets of the chosen city, visiting museums, going out for a meal…

More beach than city

Among the beach All Inclusive hotels, there are classic destinations that have become mass destinations: the Canary and the Balearic Islands, the south of Andalusia, the eastern coast, the Catalan coast… And it is precisely in these destinations where we find the most visited tourism areas and the scourges of the All Inclusive board.Out-datedhotels with repeated buffets and where the most interesting activity is staying on the beach for hours or on a sunbed by the swimming pool, gorging on cocktails, olives and crisps.

But the All Inclusive is much more than that. In fact, the All Inclusive is reappearing as an excellent service for the most demanding guests, including the most exclusive amenities, select and varied gastronomy, special activities…
